Hey parents! What do you think the future of your children’s books looks like? There are quite a few people who have some ideas which you can see in the video above. Check it out!

Situation: Your kid comes home from school with his report card for the month. She got one A, for B’s and one F. Where do will you spend your time as a parent?
Problem: The first thing you notice is ‘the bad’ grades and immediately focus on the problem as you want to immediately fix it and come up with all sorts of ideas how to do so, like ‘if then’ punishment.
Solution: Focus on the good grade tell your child he did a great job on that particular subject and ask: How can we be build on that for the other subjects?
Sounds simple right? But ask yourself, is this truly the behavior you adopt in this particular situation?
And it isn’t just for grades, it’s for any situation where you want to encourage another behavior not just from your kid but from yourself. So remember, focus on the things your child does good and encourage that same behavior to other things which you would like him to change.
We highly recommend you read both books and if you haven’t we invite you to come back for more insights from both of these books as we’ll be posting some more posts.
What do you think?

Hey Jumpiteerz! Have you heard about the iPad? Check out how children friendly it is. Here’s a cute little girl playing with it for the first time, we impressed by how she knows her way with it. Also checkout the Animal game she plays with, it sure looks like fun for the kids!
Are getting an iPad? Do you have one? Let us know in the comments!

Hello Jumpiteerz! You know how we love to read and hear you tell us you like to read. Here are some practical ideas from Lifehack to instill the love of reading in your child:
Read to them regularly, with expression and in different voices.
Model reading. Let your child see you read often. It can be cookbooks, magazines, the newspaper, novels or non-fiction.
Talk about the books or articles you have been reading.
Schedule 30 minutes after dinner or every Thursday evening as “Family Reading Time”.
Start your own “Family Book Club” if your children are between 10-18 years old.
Buy books where their name appears.
Find books that come with a CD either in bookstores or the library so your child can listen and follow along.
Always give books as at least one part of a birthday, Christmas, Easter, or holiday gift.
Give books “just because” for teamwork tasks (aka chores) being well done or because you noticed them demonstrating a positive virtue like compassion.
Take your child to the library regularly.
Read aloud books that have been made into movies and then watch the movie and do a comparison about which was better – the book or the movie.
Hey Jumpiteerz! Here’s a vide we wanted to share with you of child prodigy Adora Svitak says the world needs "childish" thinking: bold ideas, wild creativity and especially optimism. Kids’ big dreams deserve high expectations, she says, starting with grownups’ willingness to learn from children as much as to teach.
It’s well worth the 8 minutes!
